Spectrum Engineers provided electrical engineering services for the replacement and retrofit of critical electrical infrastructure serving Buildings 1 and 2. The project scope included the upgrade of the primary substation (480V), replacement of aging oil switches, and modernization of dual primary selective switches (12kV). Additionally, the project encompassed the replacement of existing 12kV-to-480V transformers and associated cabling and bus connections between the oil switches and switchboard breakers. These upgrades were designed to enhance system reliability, improve energy efficiency, and align with current electrical safety standards. Spectrum’s design emphasized system redundancy, maintainability, and minimized operational disruptions during implementation.
